菜の花/Chinese Colza

ビタミンCやミネラルが豊富な緑黄色野菜です。
旬は2~3月です。

調理の際は茹で過ぎないのがポイント。
保存の際は茹でてから冷蔵・冷凍保管をするのがおすすめです。
つぼみがしまっていて花が開いていないもの、
茎の切り口が端々しく中まで緑色の物を選びましょう。

Chinese Colza (Nanohana)

This green plant with small buds tells us that spring is around the corner.
Eaten as spring green in Japan and contains lots of Vitamin C and minerals.
The season is February to March.

When you cook this vegetable, please be careful not to boil too much.
Recommended to storage in frozen after blanched.

Often eaten dressed with some sauce
such as karashi sumiso after steamed or boiled.
