松茸/Matsutake Mushroom


記録的猛暑の影響で、秋の訪れを感じるのはあと少し先になりそうですが、
市場には松茸、栗、サンマ、サバなどの、秋の味覚が並び始めています。
その中でも、秋の味覚の王様ともいえる✧「松茸」✧のご紹介です!
現在中国産が中心となっており、価格も手ごろで入荷も安定しています。
シーズンが深まると、国産・カナダ産・南米産なども入ってきます。

The autumn hasn't started yet in Fukuoka due to
the record-breaking heatwave of summer 2010.
But, autumn foods has now started to be sold at the market.
Among lots of autumn foods, Matsutake Mushroom is the
special feature of autumn for Japanese people.
This mushroom is expensive because of its scarcity.
Also its flavor and taste are popular.

Matsutake from China is mainly coming in now and,
the price is reasonable and the supply is stable.
Matsutake from Japan, Canada and South America will gradually appear
on the market as the season goes.

This mushroom can be enjoyed by grilled, steamed, sukiyaki,
and takikomi-gohan (seasoned rice cooked with some ingredients) etc..
