シロギスは上品な見た目で、食べればくせが無く上品な白身でとっても美味しい魚です。
大きくても20~25cm位のサイズなので比較的小さめの魚と言えます。
天ぷら、塩焼き、昆布しめ、骨を二度揚げして骨せんべいなどで美味しく頂けますよ072.gif

Japanese Sillago (Shiro-gisu)

Japanese Sillago lives along the coastline of Japan except norther Hokkaido and Okinawa. This fish has delicate white meat, and can be enjoyed by Shioyaki (grilled with salt), Tenpura, Konbu-jime (marinated with kelp).
Bones are deeply fried twice and seasoned with salt, then eaten as 'hone-senbei', healthy and delicious snack.
